Oxford Venture Fund – Coming soon

Parkwalk’s Oxford Venture Fund is coming soon, our seventh fund focused on companies emerging from the University of Oxford ecosystem. The fund builds on the success of our previous Oxford funds and our longstanding commitment to backing university spinouts with the potential to deliver meaningful commercial and societal impact.

The University of Oxford is recognised as one of the world’s leading centres for research commercialisation and science-based entrepreneurship. Consistently ranked among the world’s top universities, Oxford has established itself as one of the most productive innovation ecosystems globally, combining world-class research with a strong culture of company creation and commercialisation.

As the UK’s leading source of academic spinouts for six consecutive years, Oxford continues to generate a pipeline of innovative businesses across life sciences, software, AI, quantum computing and advanced engineering. Many of these companies are translating pioneering research into products and services with the potential to address major global challenges while contributing to economic growth and technological advancement.

The Oxford Venture Fund will provide investors with access to a portfolio of early-stage businesses spun out of the University of Oxford. By backing companies founded on world-class research, the fund aims to support the translation of scientific discoveries into commercially successful businesses with the potential for real-world impact. Eligible investors may also benefit from the tax reliefs available through the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS).

As the UK’s most active investor in university spinouts, Parkwalk has been investing in Oxford-based companies for more than 15 years and has developed deep relationships across the university’s innovation ecosystem. The Oxford Venture Fund builds on that experience, providing investors with access to opportunities arising from one of the world’s most established technology and science ecosystems.
